How to Be a Complete Dandy: A Little Guide for Rakes, Bucks, Swells, Cads and Wits
Published in Hardcover by Prion Books (April, 2002)
Average review score:

Be a Dandy...or Just Look Like One!This is a charming little book, the only fault of which is that it leaves one wishing for more. The dashing writing style and the author's light touch are well-suited to the subject, interspersing biographies of dandies, witty (of course!) quotes by famous dandies, examinations of various aspects of dandyism, and little scenes between two fictitious dandies. It is so evocative of the spirit of dandyism that I, who am in many ways the opposite of a dandy, began wishing that I were a little more like the historic and fictional bon vivants that inhabit its pages. My only criticism is that photographs are sometimes a little misplaced in the text, so that you are reading about Thomas Wainewright and looking at Benjamin Disraeli, but this is infrequent, and is a very small flaw in a gem of a book.

L.A. 2000: Sex Asylum
Published in Paperback by 1stBooks Library (April, 2001)
Average review score:

LA 2000: Sex Asylum - Mr. Buchanan is brilliant!LA 2000: Sex Asylum is an exciting, suspensful psychological thriller written in the style of Kurt Vonnegut with the intellectual undertones of Jack Kerouac. This book has a very eerie but wonderful insight on today's nonpolitical "human" politics. Believable and REAL. VERY real. The characters could be someone you know. In fact, and I don't know if Buchanan did this intentionally but, from chapter 69 on I couldn't put the book down until I had reached the end. EXCELLENT piece of work!!

Love's Masquerade (Signet Regency Romance)
Published in Paperback by New American Library (June, 1986)
Average review score:

Love's MasqueradeThis is a very charming Regency about Lady Hetta Stanton. She is unfashionably drab when she arrives in London for her Season but with the help of her guardian, Lady Beatrice Pelborn, she is transformed from a moth to a butterfly. Three determined gentlemen vie for her hand-- The Earl of Davenchester, so proper in public, but so scandalous in private; Sir Rupert Sikes, whose infamous reputation is matched by his charm; and Jonathan Markham, who demands that she go back home where he thinks she belongs, as his bride. The outcome of the three possible marriages is not predictable and is very well done.

Help for the Little GuyI wanted to find something to do during retirement that would bring in some extra money. I got lots of ideas from this book. The best part of this book, to me, is that these ideas are do-able. I won't need to borrow a lot of money to get started.

Attention all Real Estate Sales ProfessionalsIf there is such thing as a "Bible" for real estate sales professionals, this is it. This is absolutely the best book I've ever read on the art of selling real estate. Weaver starts out with the basics, tried and true methods, that are a must for any sales professional. He takes the reader from interview to closing and everything in between. These easy to master techniques will make you money! Believe me. I've been very successful in real estate sales for over 15 years and Weaver's book is an incredible piece of work that you will be so glad you found.

The Master Cure
Published in Paperback by Jove Pubns (October, 1989)
Average review score:

the first mass market aids book ive seen...This is a peculiar medical thriller with the usual twists, surprises, sex, violence, and the most bizarre road trip you're likely take inside the cover of a book. But most interesting is that the book uses the AIDS epidemic as the vehicle for a thriller. It's one of the first (if not the first) to put the disease into the "normal" part of life . . . including fiction. The ending flipped me out because it's not much like most thrillers.
